Alexis is an associate attorney at Kondori & Moorad, where she focuses most of her legal practice in the areas of estate planning, real estate, and probate administration. As a native Texan from El Paso, Alexis received her undergraduate degree in political science from UTEP, and subsequently worked for two years as a legal assistant within an employment law practice. From there, Alexis stayed in West Texas for law school, attending Texas Tech University School of Law, where during her tenure, she served as the Vice President of the Hispanic Law Students Association, clerked at the El Paso County Attorney’s Office, and interned with the Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services.
At Texas Tech Law, Alexis developed her interest and knowledge within estate planning, by serving as a qualified student counselor within the Civil Practice Clinic, assisting indigent individuals in matters relating to estate planning, disability law, and real property. She also became the Articles Editor for the Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal, where she had her work published, “A Piece of You and I: Posthumous Conception and Its Implication on Texas Estate Law“, in the Estate Planning & Community Property Journal, Volume XIII, Book 2, focusing on the inheritance rights of newborn children with respect to survivor and insurance benefits if their parents died intestate in Texas.
Alexis is currently admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
