Jacqueline Fuentes is a Fiduciary Paralegal at Kondori & Moorad, LLP. She plays a central role in coordinating the firm’s day-to-day fiduciary operations and helps ensure that the legal, financial, healthcare, and administrative requirements associated with client matters are addressed accurately and on time.
Jackie monitors the progression of matters across the firm, maintains communication among attorneys and professional staff, identifies outstanding tasks and deadlines, and helps ensure that the information and documentation needed to make decisions, complete filings, pay expenses, and satisfy court requirements are available when required.
Her work encompasses guardianships, conservatorships, estates, trusts, and other fiduciary matters. She helps manage the daily financial activity of individuals and estates, including income, bills, facility charges, personal expenses, recurring obligations, and other transactions requiring attention.
Jackie communicates with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted-living communities, financial institutions, government agencies, service providers, and funeral homes. She helps resolve practical issues involving care, payment, benefits, placement, property, and other needs that arise during the course of a fiduciary appointment. She also visits incapacitated adults served by the firm. These visits allow her to assess their living circumstances and help address needs involving clothing, hygiene products, personal allowances, household items, comfort, and other daily necessities. Her direct involvement connects the firm’s financial and administrative responsibilities with the individual’s actual quality of life.
Jackie assists in coordinating matters involving Medicaid, public benefits, financial ledgers, fiduciary accountings, healthcare services, facility invoices, and court reporting. Her broad familiarity with the different components of a fiduciary matter allows her to identify when information must be shared or action must be taken across multiple areas. She also helps ensure that attorneys receive timely, detailed, and organized support. By monitoring deadlines, maintaining continuity among matters, and confirming that required records and tasks are complete, she contributes directly to the firm’s ability to satisfy its legal and fiduciary obligations.
Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jackie has supported the Hispanic community in the area by serving as a principal point of contact for Spanish-speaking estate-planning clients, including individuals and families who may face immigration-related concerns or barriers to obtaining legal services. She conducts intake, gathers information, facilitates communication, explains the planning process, and helps clients complete wills, powers of attorney, revocable trusts, and related documents.
Before joining Kondori & Moorad, Jackie accumulated more than twenty years of experience with Northern Virginia law firms in matters involving personal injury, estate planning, family law, and client administration. This broad background provides her with extensive experience managing sensitive matters, communicating with clients, and coordinating complex legal and operational responsibilities.
Jackie is a member of the National Guardianship Association and a commissioned Virginia Notary Public.
