Mayumi serves as a fiduciary accountant at Kondori & Moorad, LLP, where she ensures the accurate review of financial transactions and the preparation of detailed accounting reports related to guardianship, conservatorship, trust, and estate administration. She takes pride in contributing to the Firm’s mission of supporting clients’ diverse financial and fiduciary needs
Originally from Japan, Mayumi began her career as a reporter and producer for a television company in Osaka. She developed a strong interest in social issues through her studies in social welfare at Doshisha University in Kyoto. Her work producing business programs sparked an interest in business operations and financial management, inspiring her to pursue further education in accounting while continuing to work as an editor and proofreader in the Japanese media.
Mayumi holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting from Northern Virginia Community College and looks forward to continuing to refine her expertise in fiduciary accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband and two children. She is also active in the local Japanese community and has served as a board member at her children’s Japanese language school.
