Ryan Cross

Ryan is an associate attorney at Kondori & Moorad, where he primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, elder law, and probate and trust administration.

Originally hailing from Loudoun County, Ryan’s journey began with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, complemented by a minor in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, from Virginia Commonwealth University. His undergraduate years were marked by hands-on experiences, evident through his internship with the Virginia General Assembly in Richmond and his role as a paralegal at a local consumer bankruptcy law firm. It was during this time that Ryan’s interest in law was sparked, leading him to transition from a prospective career in a federal agency to the legal field.

Ryan attended Seattle University School of Law in Washington State. During his time there, he immersed himself in both academic and extracurricular pursuits, excelling in the Estate and Disability Planning Clinical Program at the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic, where his dedication and performance earned him the top mark in the program.

After completing his legal education, Ryan’s professional journey led him to focus on complex family law litigation, where he represented a diverse clientele in a wide array of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and guardianships. His experiences have shaped his understanding of the intricacies of family dynamics and the importance of compassionate advocacy in navigating sensitive legal issues.

He finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, relishing moments spent with family and friends. Ryan’s adventurous spirit leads him to explore the area’s vibrant food scene, discovering new local restaurants and culinary experiences. He is also a fervent enthusiast of live music shows and festivals, finding inspiration and rejuvenation in the rhythm and energy of live performances. These passions not only reflect Ryan’s zest for life but also serve as avenues for fostering connections within the local community and creating lasting memories beyond the realm of law.
